On February 23, 2003, Cindy and I publicly launched Aslan's Army at Jubilee
Fellowship Church in Littleton, CO. Cindy and I shared about Malori's
accident, how we've dealt with that life-changing event, and how that event
has led us to start Aslan's Army. The title of our message is "Eternity or
Death," illustrating the choice we have had to make repeatedly in dealing
with our situation. Our choice was simple: choose an eternal perspective and
move forward or get lost in the "life isn't fair" cycle and retreat in
despair.
Today, nothing in our lives is as we planned before the accident. In July
2002, God gave us a vision to start Aslan's Army—to support missionaries. In
August 2002, we read Malori's vision statement, which amazingly, matched our
vision statement perfectly. You can read Malori's vision statement on the
Aslan's Army website
The entire message available in RealOne Player format. If you're not sure
you have the RealOne Player on your computer, you can download it from the
www.real.com website. After you've

This message starts with a 5-minute introduction by Pastor John Leach and
then Cindy and I speak for the next 45 minutes or so. About 15 minutes into
the audio presentation, there is an actual video presentation (you'll be
able to hear the audio). There is a brief, 30-second spot with no sound. The
audience is looking at the following Letter to God written by Malori a few
days before she was killed:
Dear Lord,
I realize more everyday how pointless life is without you. Everything I want
to do and want to become are things you’ve already done and who You already
are.
Jesus, I want to be like you. No matter what my flesh says, I know that
complete satisfaction and fulfillment comes from being in your will. God,
keep me in Your will.
I want Your plans for my life to come to pass. Give me a willing heart. You
know my desire to be better and to grow. Day by day, lead me step after
step, drawing closer to Your throne. Thank You for all that you are in my
life.
Your Daughter,
Malori
The message was very well received and Jubilee Fellowship Church gave
Aslan's Army one of the largest offerings in its history. This money is
going towards funding more missionaries.
Where are we going?
Aslan's Army is just beginning it's journey to fulfill its mission.
Right now, we're building our infrastructure as we simultaneously fund
missionaries, partner with missionary organizations and build the street
evangelism DVD.
