History of Aslan's Army

The short version: Aslan's Army was originally inspired by the vision of Malori Aslan Smith.  On July 30, 2002, Malori was killed in a van rollover accident while on a missions trip in Mexico.  In July 2002, about one month after Malori was killed in, God told us to carry on Malori's vision by starting a missionary support organization called Aslan's Army. Mark & Cindy Smith created Aslan's Army in August 2002 to fulfill Malori's vision.  Today, Aslan's Army is 501(c)(3) non-profit organization and is run by a qualified board of directors.  The name Aslan, comes from Malori's middle name, who was named after the central character, Aslan, in the book series titled "Chronicles of Narnia," by C.S. Lewis.  Click here, to find read more about the book character, Aslan.
