The New Lion (194 pgs, hard cover) is about the spiritual journey of Malori Aslan Smith, who died on June 30th 2002 while on a mission’s trip to Mexico. In the Preface of Malori's private journal she wrote, "The journal of a 17-year old girl, average, nothing special. But somehow different, simply because people can relate to her. Because she took the time to write about life..I hope to change at least one life by simply living my own."
